Discover the rich heritage of this mythic beverage.
An interpretation centre in the heart of the Val-de-Travers, the Absinthe House tells the story of a drink born here, from its botanical origins and tasting rituals to its clandestine period and its role in local life.
Through a contemporary exhibition route, the visit highlights the plants, expertise and practices that have shaped absinthe, before naturally extending into a tasting or a convivial moment at the bar. In fine weather, the terrace at the rear of the building offers a peaceful setting, surrounded by the emblematic absinthe plants—an ideal place to enjoy a quiet moment.
The experience can then continue in the shop, which offers a selection of exceptional absinthes as well as related products, allowing visitors to take home a unique souvenir from the Val-de-Travers.
