One of the most striking works of Art Nouveau in the town of La Chaux-de-Fonds
Decorated by Charles L'Eplattenier and put into service in 1909, the crematorium of La Chaux-de-Fonds is a singular place where art and spirituality come together. Above all, you will discover a major work of local Art Nouveau, the Style Sapin (or "Pine Tree Style"), and its rich decorations of stone, pressed metal, mosaic and paint.
