Panorama

La Vue des Alpes - Tête de Ran

A unique view of the Alps.

This legendary pass in the Jura massif affords a unique panorama of the Alps, its 'big sisters'. The best vantage point to appreciate their grandeur!

Unique vista of the Alps
You can make out the familiar silhouettes of the peaks in the Alpine chain on the horizon. The vista stretches from the Bernese Alps as far as the celebrated peaks of the Valais Alps. In the foreground, Lake Neuchâtel and the Swiss Plateau add to the sensation of grandeur and space.

Summer adventures on the Jura ridges
As the warmer months arrive, Vue des Alpes is the perfect starting point for exploring the Jura ridges. Hiking trails lead to iconic viewpoints such as Mont d'Amin and Mont Racine, where exceptional panoramas stretch across the Alps, the Swiss Plateau and its lakes. Mountain bikers will also enjoy a wide choice of routes winding through forests, mountain pastures and along the ridgelines. Whether on foot or by bike, every outing offers fresh mountain air and breathtaking scenery.

Active winter – with a view
At nearly 1,300 m above sea level, La Vue des Alpes is a renowned Nordic skiing centre and the departure point for some superb cross-country ski runs. This ridge has some stunning vantage points that you can also reach in snowshoes. You'll feel exhilarated here 'on top of the world'! Do you enjoy skiing with your family? The Crêt-Meuron ski lift, together with the slopes of La Corbatière and La Roche-aux-Crocs, form a small ski area full of charm.
