This legendary pass in the Jura massif affords a unique panorama of the Alps, its 'big sisters'. The best vantage point to appreciate their grandeur!

Unique vista of the Alps
You can make out the familiar silhouettes of the peaks in the Alpine chain on the horizon. The vista stretches from the Bernese Alps as far as the celebrated peaks of the Valais Alps. In the foreground, Lake Neuchâtel and the Swiss Plateau add to the sensation of grandeur and space.

Active winter – with a view
At nearly 1,300 m above sea level, La Vue des Alpes is a renowned Nordic skiing centre and the departure point for some superb cross-country ski runs. This ridge has some stunning vantage points that you can also reach in snowshoes. You'll feel exhilarated here 'on top of the world'!
