⚠ Temporary closure: closed until 30 January 2026
The Clairbief restaurant is located on the left bank of the Doubs river on the French border between Goumois and Soubey.
Its speciality is trout prepared in various ways: "au bleu" (cook in red wine and warm vinegar), as carpaccio or in a bisque. The trout are farmed in Soubey by the family company, Choulat, to be more precise in the lieu-dit (locality) of Les Moulins. Our menu is comprised mainly of local produce: meat, bread, eggs, all produced by artisans in the region.
The establishment comprises 2 romms to cater for 40 and 50 people, with a large terrace with room for 50 people.
We will be delighted to welcome you to this idyllic spot in the heart of the countryside.
