Noémie & C.L.A.S.

Since 2025, the charismatic vocalist Noémie Hodebourg has been enriching the ensemble C.L.A.S. with her soulful interpretations - from tender jazz ballads to groovy R&B tunes. Musicians from Switzerland, Germany, and France (C.L.A.S.) come together around Noémie’s powerful voice. Their repertoire draws primarily from jazz and soul classics of the 1970s and 1980s - Stevie Wonder, Roberta Flack, Marvin Gaye, among others - reimagined with a fresh, contemporary flair.

In 2019, C.L.A.S. Experience began as a traditional jazz quartet dedicated to interpreting contemporary jazz music. As the ensemble increasingly introduced original compositions, the group - Cedric Bovet (saxophone),

Lucien Bovet (drums), Arno Knorr (bass), and Sylvain Gubian (piano) - started to shape its own distinctive musical identity.

Their compositions are shaped by everyday experiences, transformed into vivid musical imagery.

Unexpected harmonic shifts - sometimes pushing the boundaries of classical functional harmony - intertwine with themes that either float effortlessly above a driving rhythm section or propel the ensemble forward.

Beyond all structural frameworks, the collective celebrates open spaces for expressive freedom and dynamic interaction.

In November 2022, their debut album “Senza Più” was released under the label UNIT RECORDS. With titles such as “Ups and Downs”, and “Senza Più” (real life), the ensemble invites listeners on a shared musical journey.
