In Hagneck, explore a unique ecosystem along the water’s edge.

A few steps away from the Hagneck hydroelectric plant, the Aar Delta nature reserve stretches across a nationally significant alluvial landscape. Shallow waters, gravel banks, wet meadows and alluvial forest form a living mosaic, home to a wide range of species. A standout feature is the shallow gravel islet, an important nesting and resting site for waterbirds.
