Hotel St. Petersinsel is closed from 6 September 2026 to 30 April 2027 due to renovation work.

The hotel St. Petersinel on the traffic-free St. Peter's Island is a special place steeped in history. In 2010, it was honoured by ICOMOS as "Historic Hotel of the Year".

The Hotel St. Petersinsel offers a unique oasis in the middle of Lake Biel. Situated on an idyllic peninsula, the historic building combines timeless elegance with traditional charm. Here guests can experience nature surrounded by the unique atmosphere of a former monastery.

The hotel features 20 rooms, the “La Table” restaurant with its large terrace in the monastery’s inner courtyard, the self-service restaurant “Le Jardin”, as well as the “Rive” kiosk located at the landing stage for scheduled boats. These unique places invite guests to relax and enjoy delightful culinary experiences.
