Festival Les Jardins Musicaux

Les Jardins Musicaux, a festival of music and theatre inspired by the spirit of our times, kicks off in Cernier with themes of resistance and irony. For this 28th edition, 200 exceptional artists are featured, including pianist Roger Muraro, accordionist Vincent Peirani, soprano Sarah Maria Sun, and the 80 musicians of the Festival Orchestra. Forty performances take place at the Grange aux Concerts, in Parc Chasseral, at the Swiss Cinematheque, and many other unique venues. A world premiere inspired by the work of Oscar Wiggli, Buster Keaton’s The General as a cine-concert – and many more surprises. Les Jardins Musicaux 2024 also spreads across about ten other locations in seven cantons.
