City of Bern Vineyard

Set between La Neuveville and Schafis, the City of Bern’s vineyard stretches along the shores of Lake Biel – a living reminder of a rich winemaking past. For over two centuries, traditional grape varieties such as Chasselas and Pinot Noir have flourished here. Certified BIOSUISSE, the vineyard is now turning to disease-resistant varieties as part of a sustainable approach. Low yields are deliberately chosen to ensure expressive wines that reflect the character of the land.
