Cellar visits, wine tastings, wine walks, hikes through the vineyards, guided tours of wine-growing villages and aperitifs with a view are all great ways to discover the region’s landscapes.

The Wine Regions

There are a plenty of discoveries to make along the shores of Lake Biel, and the variety of wines cultivated on the steep sunny slopes of the Jura is fascinating.

How do you fancy a glass of wine from Mont Vully in the region Murten Lake, one of the smallest vineyards in Switzerland?

Located between Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchâtel, the Côtes de l’Orbe AOC is the oldest wine-making region in Switzerland.

The main grape varieties grown in the 180-hectare Bonvillars AOC wine region are Pinot Noir, Gamay and Chasselas.
