From the Les Prés-d’Orvin ski lifts, a gentle, steady climb leads to the Nordic Centre, the starting point for several cross-country skiing trails. The Prés-Vaillons loop then offers a varied route suitable for cross-country skiers of different abilities.

This cross-country skiing trail connects the Les Prés-d’Orvin ski lifts to the Nordic Centre via a gentle, steady climb before continuing along the Prés-Vaillons loop.
There are two possible starting points, depending on whether skiers have their own equipment:
- With your own equipment: You can start directly from the paid car park located approximately 100 metres beyond the Les Prés-d’Orvin ski lifts, then ski up to the Nordic Centre.
- To rent equipment or purchase a cross-country ski pass: You must start from the Nordic Centre, where parking and the necessary services are available.
From the Nordic Centre, several trails offer opportunities to extend your outing. With its varied terrain, the Prés-Vaillons loop is suitable for cross-country skiers of different abilities and provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the winter landscapes of the Grand Chasseral.

Good to know

The night trail (1.5 km) forms a loop with very little elevation change, starting from the Nordic Centre. It is ideal for improving your technique and training at your own pace.
