Isolated farms, an unspoilt lake and wooded hills: a picture-postcard landscape that exudes unique charm.
La Brévine is famous for its record low winter temperatures, but it offers a much more gentle welcome in the fine-weather season. It is the starting point for this very pretty hike across utterly beautiful Jura meadowland. You'll very soon catch your breath as you glimpse the shimmering waters of Les Taillères Lake, and then your route takes you gently down to Les Verrières village on the French-Swiss border.
