Jumble sale and Horlofolies

Three days of music and concerts, of street artists moving through the crowds, three days and two nights with plenty of street bars to stop at. The watch festival «Horlofolies» has strong traditional roots. It started 80 years ago in a time of great economic difficulties, in the throes of a recession which affected the whole world back then. The jumble sale owes its continuity to its strong ties to the local industrial and economic history, as does the town’s architecture. It is now also included in the recognition of La Chaux-de-Fonds as UNESCO world heritage. A wide range of entertainments and free concerts can be enjoyed at these popular festivities.
