La Grenouille

Founded in 1985, La Grenouille is a regional, bilingual theatre centre based in Biel, dedicated to theatre for young audiences. In Biel, at the BIOTOP, La Grenouille stages and programmes between 90 and 110 performances for young audiences each year. La Grenouille produces one or two shows a year, either bilingual or in two separate language versions – German and French – which are performed in Biel and on tour. In addition to its own productions, the company also brings in plays from within the country and from abroad. La Grenouille has its own educational programme with workshops and other activities, enabling children, young people and families to actively experience theatre.
