Visit our canton's most ancient archaeological site to retrace human and natural history spanning more than 70,000 years. Today, the cavern is home to underground fauna including invertebrates and – a real highlight! – seven different bat species.

    • Bring a helmet (a bike helmet will do) and good shoes

    • Accessible on foot from the train station of Chambrelin (10 minutes) or Champ-du-Moulin (1 hour)
    • The findings made in the cave of Cotencher can be seen in the permanent exhibition at the Laténium
