    • Twann

Last but not least, Twann owes its name to the good wine that grows here in a sunny location.

The historic winegrowing village of Twann is based on the left-hand banks of Lake Biel. Winegrowing has been taking place in Twann sindce the 12th century and fishing since the Neolithic. This cozy wine-growing village is the starting point for beautiful excursions. Narrow lanes, old houses and fountains characterise the dreamingly romantic village which resembles a medieval town.
