Folk in Heaven: Jon Shain & Mike Bischof (USA/CH)

Jon Shain, a singer-songwriter and guitar virtuoso from North Carolina, is a winner of the prestigious “International Blues Challenge” in Memphis and has performed with artists such as Keb’ Mo’, John Hiatt, and Jackson Browne. As a sought-after producer, teacher, and author of a guitar book, he is now considered one of the defining voices of American acoustic blues and folk. Shain’s latest album, “Odds…and Even So,” was released on September 1, 2026.

Mike Bischof has been active on the Swiss music scene for years as a bassist, guitarist, and producer and is now one of the country’s most sought-after “sidemen.” With his voice and the “Bass’tarre” he developed himself (which allows him to play bass and guitar at the same time!), he creates a harmonious sound experience.

Special guest Beth Wimmer, often referred to as “Switzerland’s Americana Songbird,” captivates audiences with authentic Americana, heartfelt songs, and her uniquely warm voice.
