FRONTROOM
THIS CHAPTER BEGINS TWICE: Ève-Gabriel Chabanon
Brussels-based artist Ève-Gabriel Chabanon has developed a hybrid practice that probes notions of sociability and collective, political, and economic constructions through collages of text, textile, ceramics, and found objects. With this exhibition, the artist presents a new series of works that interweaves their research on proliferating mycelial networks, contaminations between human and non-human actors, natural and artificial materials, and the histories and reference systems that shape them.
BACKROOM
SOMA: Yen Chun Lin
For SOMA, Taiwan-born artist Yen Chun Lin presents a new sonic piece exploring interspecies communication through sound. Developed through dream listening and attunement to non-human frequencies, the work transforms the space into a quiet, immersive cocoon — where light breathes gently and sound becomes a shared language across dimensions.
Nested in the BACKROOM of KRONE COURONNE, SOMA is a vibrating listening platform that accommodates the practice and research of sound artists through 2025. Built as a result of curator Kristina Grigorjeva’s research that investigates the emancipatory and transformative potential of different listening practices, SOMA invites to listen, linger, vibrate and hear collectively in a shared, plural, response-able and care-full context.
