Located in the heart of Biel, Villa Elfenau is an elegant building in the French Baroque style. Built in 1861/62 by Biel physician Charles Neuhaus-Verdan as a residence with a private clinic, it has retained its historic charm to this day. Spread over three floors, it offers up to three double bedrooms, a welcoming kitchen, several living and relaxation areas, as well as a spacious room ideal for activities such as yoga. The extensive park with pavilions and water features invites guests to linger and stroll.
Villa Elfenau is a historic house, a listed building. Since the original room layouts have largely been preserved, the house is not wheelchair accessible. Although the house is otherwise equipped with modern technical facilities, please note that the spiral staircase and the garden pose certain hazards. Please be aware that the fish pond and garden pond, the low windows, and the spiral staircase are potential hazards. The terrace on the upper floor is not accessible. The veranda is not heated during winter. Tenants acknowledge these conditions. The foundation and the owners disclaim any responsibility.
