A family-run estate blending tradition and innovation on the slopes of Ligerz.
Above the village of Ligerz, in the quiet hamlet of Schernelz, Krebs & Steiner Winery enjoys breathtaking views over Lake Biel and the Alps. Since 2019, Sabine and Andreas have combined the traditions of their two family vineyards into one estate. They cultivate their vines organically, with great care and a deep respect for nature. This sustainable approach allows their wines to fully express each grape variety’s character — with depth, intensity and aromatic finesse. Each bottle tells a story of craftsmanship rooted in heritage, yet open to innovation.
