La Chaux-de-Fonds
This architectural complex, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site, now houses a contemporary art centre and a brewery.
Built in 1906, these imposing buildings bear witness to the economic and social importance of the meat-processing industries in the region. Their architecture, characterised by robust lines and the judicious use of stone and metal, reflects the industrial aesthetic of the time. Today, these spaces have found a completely different vocation, as they house a contemporary art centre with a daring programme, as well as a local brasserie. A unique venue that can be hired for major events and exhibitions.
