For one weekend, Fribourg folklore will be on show in the medieval streets of Estavayer-le-Lac. Epicureans and curious visitors alike will enjoy tasting, discovering, laughing and living around the Bénichon and its customs. Entertainment and a small farm in the Rue du Musée are set up to entertain young and old together. The Benichon menu is the star of the festival. Visitors with a taste for traditional dishes will be delighted to sample ham, lamb, meringues and cuchaule in the town’s restaurants.
On Saturday from 9am to 6pm and on Sunday from 9am to 5pm, a craft market offering local products will delight all visitors. Sign up
