An outdoor educational and entertaining treasure hunt to discover Biel – with riddles and no digital tools required
The meeting point is in the Stadtpark, near the music pavilion, where pupils receive instructions on reading the map, spotting clues, and deciphering codes. The class is then divided into small groups of three to four people to encourage active participation. The game ends in Elfenaupark - perfect for a break or picnic.
The tour lasts around 2 hours 30 minutes but can be shortened as needed. This is not a race: each team moves at its own pace, paying attention to the city's details. The map is included in the booklet - no phone is needed. Reading, orientation skills, and collaboration are all encouraged.
Up to six teams can play at once on different routes with varied riddles, all passing through the old town, city centre, and station district.
The price applies to the entire class, including accompanying adults, as well as the booklets and the treasure to be discovered at the finish.
