For five years, the Andrey winery in Schafis has been offering a unique culinary experience with a selection of homemade tapas prepared using regional ingredients. Enjoy a leisurely lunch in the charming wine cellar or on the beautiful sun terrace, with breathtaking views of Lake Biel and St. Peter’s Island.
Arancini made from Seeland rice filled with Biel mozzarella, homemade focaccia, meatballs prepared with organic Angus beef from St. Peter’s Island, hummus made from Swiss chickpeas, and many other regional tapas create a truly indulgent break. The concept returns this summer for its fourth edition, continues to grow in popularity, and has been nominated for the “Best of Swiss Wine Tourism” award. A delightful way to celebrate summer, with the flavours of the region reflected both in the glass and on the plate.
