Hiking on the Balcony of the Alps

The hike begins in the picturesque village of Romont. Leaving the village, the path continues uphill through the forest to the Romontberg Restaurant, which is the perfect spot for a break. From there, it gently descends through the typical wooded pastures of the region, offering a view of the Alps on clear days. Then, a short descent through the forest leads to the village of Plagne. Leaving the last houses behind, the path continues to descend through a dense forest until it finally arrives at Reuchenette-Péry. Just before the train station, the trail passes by a charming church situated on a hill.
