The Local Life Commission of the Municipality of Tavannes proposes five walking tours to explore the village and its surroundings.
This itinerary of 1h30 on 4,5 km goes along the brook called the Coué which takes its source on the plateau of Orange. On the way, it is possible to admire an 8 meters high waterfall. The trail also passes through the northern part of the village where the district called "Casquettes" shelters the first houses of Tavannes with their original and asymmetrical roofs.
