The Local Life Commission of the Municipality of Tavannes proposes five walking tours to explore the village and its surroundings.
This 1.5 hour, 5.8 km route allows you to contemplate the eastern part of Tavannes as well as the remains of a small castle called Chatelay, destroyed in the Middle Ages and of which part of the stones were used to rebuild the church of Chaindon. It also passes by the pond of the Châtelet and the nature trail set up by the Group for the protection of the Nature.
