Obscure, uncertain, legendary... The origins of the castle of Ergüel have never been completely elucidated. Its vestiges invite to dream. Here we speak of the White Lady of Ergüel. Legend has it that her ghost walks the ruins of a castle which the Bishop of Basel, Burkhard von Fenis, probably used in the early Middle Ages during the conflict between the Bishopric of Basel and the Bishopric of Lausanne.
