From Saignlégier, the Grand Tour of Switzerland takes a number of mountain passes from Les Moulins to Soubey, a magnet for canoeists.

After a stop at the Saignelégier cheese dairy, the Grand Tour continues among the dairy farms of this region. A short distance away is the Etang de la Gruère, part of the nature reserve of the same name. Known for its peat bogs and marshes, this is a real haven for nature lovers! The region is also famous for its breed of Franches-Montagnes horses which you will be sure come across in the pastures where they live in semi-freedom. The Grand Tour now passes through Montfaucon and then takes advantage of the hairpin bends down to the village of Soubey, on the banks of the Doubs.
