Werdtberg, Montoz

Starting from the parking lot of the La Golatte ski lift located at 1094 m, the route passes in front of the La Golatte farm and then heads east. After about 200 metres, head northeast, cross the access road to the Métairie de Werdt and then enter a relatively steep valley that stretches to the heights of Montoz. After turning to the right, the route continues, through the ridge, to the Werdt Town Hall where the view of the plateau and the alpine range is simply sensational.

The descent towards La Golatte follows the official hiking route through pastures and forests. Between the firs, we can see the village of Reconvilier, whose slogan "Living & working close to nature" takes on its full meaning here.
