At Boncourt Buffalo Park, some 60 buffalo graze on 35 hectares of pasture. Guided tours and tasting sessions bookable in advance.

Set amidst the rolling Ajoie countryside with sweeping views of the Vosges mountains, Boncourt Buffalo Park immerses visitors in the world of these impressive bovine beasts. Trails criss-crossing 35 hectares of forest and pasture let you discover these iconic natives of America’s Great Plains right here in Switzerland.
Don’t miss the highlight of the park’s natural life cycle: buffalo calving season, which falls between mid-May and mid-June every year. Founded in 2004 by Michel Prêtre, the estate is today home to around 60 buffalo. For a unique and authentic experience, take a guided tour, taste buffalo meat in a tipi, or hire the park for your private party or business event.
