Follow the tracks of the most famous watchmakers of the Valley of St-Imier and also of the small anonymous hands which worked, and still do, at the manufacturing of these watch-making treasures.
As early as 1800, the agricultural village of Saint-Imier took on the dimensions of a true watchmaking hub. This itinerary enables the visitor to follow the steps of the great names of watchmaking in the Vallon de Saint-Imier, but also of the anonymous little hands that have worked and still work to make these watches. From a famous engraver at the court of Louis XVI to the thousands of craftsmen who have worked in the region since the rise of watchmaking, the visitor discovers in Saint-Imier those who have built the industrial history of the region.
