Plunging gorges surrounded by steep cliffs permeate this area of unspoilt natural beauty located along the northern flank of the Chasseral.

The Combe Grède is a particularly calm and wild nature reserve. Its almost vertical cliffs are the favorite playground of chamois and marmots. A hike in this reserve is full of surprises. Climbing the Combe Grède from Villeret, you reach the summit of Chasseral with its panoramic view of the three lakes and the Alps. The ascent is enhanced by passages with ladders to climb. Typical of the Grand Chasseral, the farmhouses around the Chasseral await the visitor for a thirst-quenching drink or a regional dish, often cooked with products made on the spot.
