Encounter : how goes tomorrow

Claude Bühler’s how goes tomorrow does not only depict a farming collective organised in solidarity; it borrows its logic. This evening takes that gesture further, inviting others to activate the exhibition through performance and listening.

With Would you like to take care of this?, Viviana González Méndez transforms a fique rope into a shared tool for digging into questions of heritage, utopias and interdependence.

The programme continues with a carte blanche concert from the Swiss Society of Acoustic Ecology (SSAE), bringing the exhibition into the realm of sound. The SSAE aims to play an active role in raising awareness of environmental and climate issues (acoustics), with the goal of embedding these themes in society.

Conceived as a space for extension, Encounters invites artists to imagine forms of mediation that renew how the exhibition is seen and deepen the experience of it.
