Singing violins and thunderous timpani ignite your imagination—only to reveal four musicians before you: Helena Bühler (voice), Gian Luzi Niederhauser (double bass), Felix Geidel (piano & composition) and Maurice Storrer (tenor sax). United at the Lucerne University of Music, they blend modern jazz improvisation with classical harmony. Through contrapuntal dialogues and memorable melodies, their chamber ensemble conjures an entire orchestra in each listener’s mind—whether baroque ensemble, string orchestra or full film-score soundscape, the choice remains unspoken.
