Prix Kunstverein: Marietta Schenk

The Cantonale Berne Jura is organised by the Biel Art Association in collaboration with the Kunsthaus Biel Centre d'art Bienne (KBCB). This year's presentation comprises 31 artistic positions and occupies the entire exhibition space. It testifies to the dynamism and openness of the regional art scene as well as the extraordinary diversity of means of expression. Using a variety of media – from painting, drawing and video to sculpture, photography and installation – the selected artists address current issues and question common patterns of perception. The exhibition allows participants to forge new relationships and build bridges. It also offers an opportunity to present the work of the winner of the Prix Kunstverein 2025. Among the 31 selected positions, six collectives are represented and 14 artists come from Biel and the surrounding area.
