Chasseral – Vues de loin

The exhibition "Chasseral – Vues de loin" brings together eleven large-format photographs printed on wood and displayed in eleven métairies (mountain farms) of the Chasseral from August 21 to October 31, 2025. Taken from a distance, each image offers a unique perspective on this iconic landscape, captured from a specific observation point.
This artistic initiative is part of the regional project "Objectif Chasseral", launched in 2025 to collectively and strategically consider the future of the Chasseral. The aim: to better welcome, better preserve, and better manage this emblematic natural site of the Grand Chasseral.
As the first step in this broader project, the approach is also participatory: in each of the eleven participating métairies, visitors are invited to share their visions for the future of the Chasseral (their dreams, desires, and ideas) via a participation slip integrated into the placemats used during the exhibition period.

Ten participatory events from August to November

In addition to the exhibition, the Park will be present at ten events taking place in the métairies between August and November (following their regular opening hours). These on-site events will offer opportunities to engage in dialogue about the future of the Chasseral, while also immersing visitors in the world of this iconic site – with stories and anecdotes from farm life, pastoral cinema, walk-and-talk sessions, and nature workdays. Participants will be encouraged to share their ideas, wishes, and views for the future of the Chasseral.
