Craft Market

In 1992, the Association de la Vieille Ville du Landeron decided to organise a craft market in the old town of Le Landeron. This idea was particularly important in view of the old Saturday markets, which brought together market gardeners, local shopkeepers and other stallholders. Since its inception, the craft market has been held on the day before Mother's Day in Switzerland. The number of exhibitors has risen from 75 to 100, and there is still a waiting list. The Committee's intention is to keep the exhibition area solely within the grounds of the Bourg.
