Learn more about Rousseau while enjoying a walk on the Saint-Pierre Island, led by a philosopher and a wine sommelier.
Rousseau's reveries are among the great loneliness texts of Western culture. They are exemplary of the modern psyche that seeks authenticity in its innermost self-relationship. Based on the famous fifth walk, which takes place on St Peter's Island, a variety of questions are posed about our lives today. You will be accompanied by a philosopher who will guide you through Rousseau's world of ideas.
This same philosopher slips into the role of a wine sommelier at the beginning - in the sense of an aperitive introduction - and at the end of the walk - in the sense of a digestive conclusion - and serves up Dionysian references to Rousseau and the Lake Biel region
