After the success of the first edition, the Balade gourmande de Sainte-Croix / Les Rasses is back again this year!

Join us on 24 August 2025 for an unforgettable day out on a mountain bike or electrically-assisted mountain bike (EAB), combining sport, local discoveries and gourmet delights.

Along the 22km Tour des Alpages route, let yourself be carried away by the beauty of the scenery and the richness of the local produce. From the ridges overlooking the Chasseron to the lush green meadows and shady forests, each stage offers a gourmet break in one of the 5 partner chalets and restaurants.

On the menu: regional produce, traditional recipes, meeting new people and sharing. It's a great way to (re)discover the Balcon du Jura... with a pedal and a fork!

- Public transport from Yverdon-les-Bains will take you comfortably to Les Rasses (train Yverdon-les-Bains - Ste-Croix then bus line 615 to Les Rasses).

- 4 waves of departures: 9.00am - 9.30am / 9.30am - 10.00am / 10.00am - 10.30am / 10.30am - 11.00am. Please indicate your preference when booking.

- Places are limited. No on-site registration. To register, send an e-mail to [email protected] or phone +41 79.378.37.91.
- When booking, please include your contact details, the number of participants and your preferred departure time. If you wish to reserve a bike, please specify your size. Registration closes at midday on Monday 18 August.

- Payment details will be sent to you in the booking confirmation email.
- Payment is by bank transfer or TWINT.

- Cancellation
- This gourmet walk takes place whatever the weather.
- Should the weather conditions prevent the event from taking place in acceptable safety conditions, you will be informed by e-mail by Wednesday 20 August at the latest and a full refund will be given.
- No refund will be given in the event of your cancellation.

- Conditions of participation
- The 22-kilometre route has a positive difference in altitude of 740 metres. This demanding route is particularly suitable for users of electrically assisted bikes. Classic mountain bikers are also welcome, provided they are sufficiently trained. Participants are responsible for their own equipment and must be individually insured against accidents. Participants are obliged to comply with road traffic regulations. The organisers accept no liability for accidents, theft or damage. Participants are strongly advised to wear suitable safety equipment and helmets.
