Christmas Village

Come and experience the magic of the Avenches Christmas Village from 1 to 21 December!
The heart of the old town will offer an unprecedented welcome during this winter period, in a Christmas setting where chalets, fir trees, lights, a curling rink, and the delicate flavours and scents of the season will revive the festive spirit and delight visitors' taste buds.

Every evening, whether at the Christmas Village or the Advent Windows, share a convivial moment in the company of local societies or the inhabitants of Avenches.
Activities dedicated to children, thanks to a collaboration with ARPEJE (Regional Association for Children and Youth), are also scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday in December.

The celebrations will kick off with music on Monday 1 December 2025, with Jazz A3, a travelling jazz band, warming up the square.

Once again this year, a canopy will ensure the comfort of every visitor, whatever the weather.
Entry to the Village is free, providing an opportunity to share warm moments with family or friends over mulled wine, a game of ‘billiard football’, ‘POK’ or music.
Every day, surprises await you, and every night, the twinkling lights will remind you that Christmas is a time for sharing and joy.
