Near Lake Neuchâtel, the village of Bonvillars hosts Switzerland's first truffle market every last Saturday in October. An unmissable excursion for all gourmets, this unique event dedicated to autumn truffles offers the chance to discover, buy and taste this exceptional mushroom!

Every autumn, the Bonvillars Truffle Market brings together key figures from the Swiss truffle industry at La Cour de Bonvillars. Truffle growers, truffle hunters, producers, chefs and artisans showcase their expertise and products.
The market offers exclusively certified Swiss truffles, with several dozen kilos of truffles for sale, as well as mycorrhizal truffle trees. Local produce, wines from the Bonvillars appellation and a variety of artisan specialities round off the stalls.
Throughout the day, truffle-hunting demonstrations with dogs offer visitors the chance to discover truffle-hunting techniques at 10.00, 11.30 and 14.30. The programme also includes a talk on Swiss truffles from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm, an exhibition of regional mushrooms, a scent workshop and truffle-themed activities.
Food will be available throughout the day, including truffle risotto, truffle butter on toast, veal sausages with truffles and truffle fondue.
