Individual visit to the permanent and temporary exhibitions.

The permanent exhibition in Albert Anker’s former home presents the life and commitment of the artist through a series of thematic chapters. The man and the artist are portrayed both in his Bernese home village of Ins and within the national and international context of the 19th and early 20th centuries. In a sequence of niche-like rooms, numerous fascinating and sometimes surprising aspects of Anker’s life are documented – from his family and contemporaries to his interest in education, history and technology.

The next temporary exhibition in the art pavilion of the Centre Albert Anker will take place from Saturday, 30 May to Sunday, 25 October 2026 and can also be visited individually during this period with an admission ticket.
