As the sun sets and torches light up, the adventure begins. Led by a biologist, participants explore one of Switzerland’s largest nature reserves, along the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, in the hopes of spotting Europe’s largest rodent.
With quiet steps and eyes wide open, the group learns to recognise signs of beaver activity: gnawed branches, dams and footprints. Even if the animal remains out of sight, the nocturnal atmosphere of the Grande Cariçaie offers a truly immersive experience.
A unique outing under the stars – perfect for nature lovers and curious explorers.
