Our recommendations and addresses for a trip from Saint-Ursanne to Biel, via Mont-Soleil and Chasseral.

Looking for a weekend getaway for two?
There is much to see in just 48 hrs in the Jura & Three-Lakes region.
Pick up an e-bike at St-Ursanne and discover the typical landscapes of the Jura and the Doubs National Park along the "Route Verte", see the semi-wild Franches-Montagnes horses, ride through picturesque villages and stop for a picnic at the Etang de la Gruère natural lake. Those with a little more time have the opportunity to hike part of the Jura Crest Trail, stop for a bite to eat at a typical métairie (farm restaurant) and finally enjoy the wide range of cultural attractions in the charming, bilingual town of Biel/Bienne.
Start the day in St-Ursanne.
On the banks of the Doubs, the small medieval town of Saint-Ursanne conceals many treasures.
Ride from St-Ursanne towards Mont-Soleil. On this leg of the tour, you will discover the typical landscapes of the Jura and the Doubs Nature Park.
Observe the semi-wild horses or visit one of the many horse stud farms.
Make a small detour to the natural lake Etang de la Gruère and enjoy the beauty of nature during a lakeside picnic.
The e-bike tour ends on Mont-Soleil in the Chasseral Regional Park. Round off the day with a glass of white wine on the terrace!
Start the day in the watchmaking town of St. Imier.
A bus will take you to the Chasseral, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Alps, the Three-Lakes region, Mont-Soleil and Mont-Crosin.
From the Chasseral you walk 17 km along the Jura Crest Trail across endless pasture landscapes towards Frinvillier.
Stop for a break at one of the typical Alpine farm restaurants.
Take the train to Biel. This charming town on the lake offers a wide range of cultural attractions and is the cradle of the art of watchmaking.
Charming little alleys invite you to stroll. Galleries, antique shops and small shops alternate with restaurants, theatres and cafés.
