Between Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Grand Tour of Switzerland passes through the Val-de-Ruz and the Col de la Vue des Alpes from where you can admire a magnificent panorama of the Alps, just as its name suggests!

Neuchâtel is known not only as the capital of the canton, but also as a thousand-year-old city. The Grand Tour gives you the opportunity to visit the Collegiate Church, the Castle and the historic old town, as well as to enjoy the lake-front. After exploring Neuchâtel and its secrets, the route continues to Valangin, a medieval village set in the midst of nature. It then takes you to the multicoloured fields of the Val-de-Ruz. After a short climb, you reach the Vue des Alpes where you can enjoy the view of the fir trees and the breathtaking panorama of the lake, the Swiss plateau and the Alps. To finish, the Grand Tour takes you from the evergreen forest to the watches of La Chaux-de-Fonds.
