The Aare flows slowly. If you want to get ahead, you’ll need to get your arms moving. A break or two are recommended, though: the nature conservation areas along the waterfront are beautiful, while the Altreu stork colony is certainly worth making landfall for. It’s not long until the Baroque architecture of Solothurn appears on the horizon.
