Climb the slopes of Mont Raimeux and enjoy magnificent views over the Grand Val.
"On this fine summer's afternoon, blessed by sun and blue skies, I decided to take a trip along the trails offered by Le Cornet. After stopping in the car park, I set off on the Botanical Trail up Mont Raimeux. The route was marked out by information stations on the flora and fauna of the region, as well as signposts giving the names of various species of plants. On arrival at the summit, I was faced with a dilemma: a tempting ice-cream at the "Restaurant du Raimeux de Crémines" or a picnic on "La Plateforme", with its amazing panoramic views over the valley? I descended Mont Raimeux by the Gore Virat, a path recently laid out as a Discovery Trail after the restoration of the new "Pont du Bas". The tree coverage and the river were pleasantly refreshing in the heat. Just above Corcelles, I turned off on "Les 3 Tilleuls" and so arrived back at the car park."
