La Neuveville
Legends have grown up around the multi-level waterfalls above La Neuveville, and these are partly based on actual witch trials.
The lower basin is described as a "witches’ bath" and it is popular with athletes. Above it is the "Lake of the Fairies", where the water laps into a pool that is more or less hidden. If you wish to discover other cascades, you should walk up to the "Combe du Pilouvi" woodland dingle, and this takes about 30 minutes.
