    Tackle the power to climb a summit or penetrate the calm of the forest in winter hibernation. The pleasure of hiking with snowshoes seduces the seasoned outdoor fun lovers and day visitors, beginners as well as the accomplished sportsmen.

    No apprenticeship necessary, snowshoeing makes getting out and having fun on the snow accessible to everyone. Snowshoes on, hikers of all levels can enjoy untouched winter landscapes.
    With its gentle slopes and Far North feeling, the Vallée de Joux is a popular destination for winter hikers who enjoy the numerous marked trails and stunning views. Whether taking start from the Thomassette or Les Charbonnières, from the Marchairuz or Mollendruz, the region offers 9 marked routes covering 44 km of trails.

    Snowshoe itinerary trailheads:
    Le Brassus, La Thomassette 2,5 km to the Appolo refuge
    Col du Marchairuz 24 km (4 loops)
    Col du Mollendruz 15 km (3 loops)
    Les Charbonnières, La Douane 2 km
